It's no longer "we fight like hell to have you removed", because of the advocacy and fighting in S.C. now it's a "we will have you removed" from the registry; with a great reputation and a new legacy that generations to come will be proud of.
One of our first members, Mr. Powell, was kind enough to allow us to use him as our guinea pig in S.C. We started convincing people in 2019 to challenge South Carolina sex offender registry requirements constitutionally, we fought and the people won!
When Mr. Powell became a member in 2019 we immediately had his online mugshots removed and started restoring his community and online reputation. Afterwards I'm 2021 the S.C. Supreme Court in case (Powell (v) Keel 433 S.C. 457,860 (2021)) ruled in our favor and determined that South Carolina sex offender registry requirements were in fact unconstitutional. Specifically, the court explained: " Although we find the state has a legitimate interest in requiring "sex offender registration" is constitutional, the S.C. Offender act (SORA) requirement that sex offenders "must" register for "life" without any opportunity for Judicial review violates due process because it is arbitrary and cannot be deemed reasonably related to the General Assembly stated purpose of protecting the public from those with a high risk of re-offending. Therefore we hold (SORAs) " lifetime" registry requirement is in fact unconstitutional absent any opportunity for Judicial review to access the risk of re-offending." And I'm 2022 the South Carolina Governor signed into law Act 221 which amended the registry to account for due process concerns.
And thanks to the Governor our membership is now just $2.21 a day to commemorate this amazing victory! Mr. Powell was removed from the registry and never has to register again!
We follow this same plan of attack for all of our members. They are being removed as well, when you become a member you will receive similar results as Mr. Powell and Mr. King Grant Davis.
Mr. King Grant Davis became a member in 2021. We restored his reputation and in 2023 filed petition for removal, and a year later he was removed from the S.C. registry. In case (King Grant-Davis) the United States Court of Appeals cited the victory in (Powell(v) Keel). We are not just changing lives, we are changing legacies!
It does not matter if you have been on the registry for 6 months or 16 years. We have already evaluated you, and we know we will win for you too!!
"Like it Never happened"
We will get back to you as soon as possible.
